SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. - It’s reload time for the Summerside Western Capitals when the Maritime Hockey League squad visit the Miramichi Timberwolves in the mid-week matchup on Wednesday.
Summerside (5-5-1, 11 points) is coming off a 7-4 home to loss the Eastlink North Division-leading Edmundston Blizzard and is aiming to get momentum rolling.
Game time is 7:30 p.m. in Miramichi City, N.B.
The Timberwolves (4-3-1) sit in fourth place in the Eastlink North, one point back of the third place Caps. The surprising St. Stephen Aces have the division’s second spot at 6-6.
Caps sniper TJ Shea leads the league with 18 points in 11 games and is tied for second with
Campbell Pickard of the Truro Bearcats with 10 goals.
Timberwolves goalie Raphael Blais (2-1, one shutout) is second in the league in goals-against average at 1.41.
