CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - It was over early as the St. FX X-Women scored three tries in the first 12 minutes and rolled to a 83-5 win over the UPEI Panthers in Atlantic University Sport women’s rugby action Friday in Antigonish, N.S.
St. FX goes a league-leading 4-0, while UPEI fell to 1-3.
Sarah Hoerig scored three tries for St. FX, while Olivia DeMerchant, Danielle Cormier and Meghan Buchanan each scored twice. Danielle Franada kicked nine conversions.
Lauren Sheidow had the UPEI try.
UPEI’s player of game was Anneke Dykerman. Hoerig earned St. FX’s POG.
