Hurricanes men's soccer team wins Atlantic title

The Holland College Hurricanes scored three second half goals to defeat the King’s College Blue Devils 3-0 and win the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association championship.

Ibra Sanoh scored the winner in the 64th minute and set up John Chandler and Theo Ngezahayo to round out the scoring.

Logan Doiron stopped both shots he faced for the shutout while Lore Maagard-Romano made four saves in the loss.

Holland College has won the ACAA title three straight years and six of the last eight years.

The Hurricanes will play at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association championship in Fort McMurray, Alta., beginning Wednesday. Their best finish is second in 2011-12.
