CHARLOTTETOWN – The Western Regals and Pownal Red Devils earned victories in the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League on Thursday night.
The Regals registered a 5-2 road win over the Central Attack while the Red Devils trimmed the host Summerside Capitals 10-3.

At the Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown, the Regals jumped out to period leads of 2-0 and 4-1.
Five different players – Ethan Oliver (1-2), Connor Horne, Oliver Smallman, Alex Hutchison and James Doyle – found the back of the net for the Regals, who are 10-14-5 (won-lost-tied).
Kyle Martin and Emmett Lyons countered for the Attack (10-19-1).
Winning goaltender was Colin Gaudette.
Red Devils 10 Capitals 3
At Credit Union Place’s Ice Pad in Summerside, the Red Devils scored seven unanswered goals over the final 40 minutes. The teams were tied 3-3 at the end of one period, but the Red Devils took a 7-3 cushion into the second intermission.
Nick Steele (2-3), Lucas Parsons (2), Grant Koughan (1-2), Dawson Palmer (1-2), Keegan Mitchell (1-2), Alex MacFadyen (1-2), Michael Gallant (1-1) and Will MacDougall scored for the Red Devils (17-10-2).
Blake Gallant, Dexter Stewart and Steven Smallwood replied for Summerside (5-23-0).
Trevor Whalen picked up the goaltending win.
