P.E.I. teams off to strong starts in ringette event in Summerside

Atlantic titles on the line

The 2018 Atlantic ringette championships, featuring 22 teams and more than 330 athletes, got underway at Credit Union Place in Summerside on Friday. A total of 18 games were scheduled on opening day. SUMMERSIDE – P.E.I. teams are off to strong starts at the 2018 Atlantic ringette championships at Credit Union Place.
Two teams from P.E.I. are undefeated after a busy Day 1 on Friday. The three-day event has attracted 22 teams and more than 330 athletes.
In the Under-14 Division, the P.E.I. Wave is one of three teams at 2-0 (won-lost) along with the Beausejour Hotshots and the Stingers AA.
The P.E.I. Wave’s under-16 team is also 2-0. The Wave is tied for top spot with the New Brunswick AA squad.
