SUMMERSIDE – P.E.I. teams are off to strong starts at the 2018 Atlantic ringette championships at Credit Union Place.
Two teams from P.E.I. are undefeated after a busy Day 1 on Friday. The three-day event has attracted 22 teams and more than 330 athletes.
In the Under-14 Division, the P.E.I. Wave is one of three teams at 2-0 (won-lost) along with the Beausejour Hotshots and the Stingers AA.
The P.E.I. Wave’s under-16 team is also 2-0. The Wave is tied for top spot with the New Brunswick AA squad.
