Ravens, Eagles split softball games in O'Leary

O'LEARY, P.E.I. – The Kevin Quinn Re/Max Ravens split a softball doubleheader with the Summerside Chrysler Dodge Eagles Sunday in O’Leary.

The Eagles won Game 1 4-2 before the visitors took the nightcap 6-1.

Jason Smallman was 2-for-3 with a two-run homerun for the Eagles in the opener while Dawson Sellick was 1-for-3.

Parker Ronahan, Matt Lange, Owen Arsenault and Bret Cheverie each went 1-for-3 for the Ravens.

Mitch Hardy recorded the win while Jonathan Arsenault was tagged with the loss.

Stephen O'Shea went 2-for-4 in Game 2 to lead the Ravens attack while Grant Grady, Jonathan Arsenault, Logan Gallant, Owen Arsenault and Ronahan each went 1-for-3.

Jeff MacIsaac, Mike MacIsaac and Morgan Murphy each went 1-for-3 for the Eagles while Ravens outfielder Ty McAdam played the contest with the Eagles and hit a solo homerun.

Owen Arsenault recorded the victory while Steve Noonan took the loss.
