BIBLE HILL, N.S. – The Holland College Hurricanes have taken care of the first order of business.

Jace Colley had 33 points and 11 rebounds to pace the top-ranked Hurricanes to a 93-79 victory over the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics Saturday in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association men’s basketball semifinal in Bible Hill, N.S.

They will play in Sunday’s final against the Crandall Chargers, who defeated the second-ranked Mount Allison Mounties 90-75 semifinal, .

Marcus Dawkins had 14 while Chase Bowden and Roosevelt (Chicken) Whyley each chipped in 10.

Ashton Slawter had 20 for the Mystics while Cornwall’s Brayden White chipped in 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and a block.

The Hurricanes led 25-15 after the first quarter, but went to the halftime break trailing 43-42. They outscored the Mystics by nine in the third quarter to take a 72-64 lead to the final 10 minutes.

The final is slated for 3:30 p.m.
