STRATFORD, P.E.I. – The Atlantic Attack, which includes Stratford native Ashley Hollis, punched its ticket to the National Ringette League (NRL) championship with a 13-0 win over the Rive Sud Revolution in Game 3 of the teams’ recent playoff series in New Brunswick.
The Attack won the best-of-three Eastern Conference matchup 2-1. The Attack won the series opener 8-6, but lost Game 2 10-8.
Hollis finished with five assists and six penalty minutes during the three games.
The national championship goes April 7-14 in Winnipeg, Man. The Attack finished second last season. This year will be the team’s third straight appearance at the national championship.
