CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Holland College Hurricanes volleyball teams land in Saint John, N.B., this weekend to take on the UNBSJ Seawolves in the final Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) games of 2017.

Both teams play Saturday (women at 2 p.m., men at 4 p.m.), with the men playing Sunday at noon.

The fourth-place women’s ‘Canes (3-2) aim to bounce back after two losses last weekend to Mount Saint Vincent. UNBSJ is second at 5-1.

‘Canes setter Gracie Ferguson is second in assists (113) and assists per set (6.28) in the ACAA.

On the men’s side, the Hurricanes and Seawolves games are in a battle for first as the two teams come into play undefeated on the season. The ‘Canes are 4-0 start while the Seawolves are 3-0.

Holland College power Brett Butler, a Charlottetown native, leads the ACAA in kills with 47.

The season resumes for both squads Saturday, Jan. 6.
