CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Katelyn Dunn and Michael Kayeye are the Holland College Hurricanes athletes of the week.
Dunn, a first-year forward with the women’s hockey team, helped lead Holland College to an undefeated weekend on the road versus UNB in Fredericton, N.B.
On Saturday, in a 3-0 win, Dunn played a solid game at both ends of the ice before scoring twice in Sunday’s 4-1 victory. Dunn is from New Glasgow, N.S. and studying in the pastry arts program.
Kayeye, a third-year player with the ‘Canes men’s basketball team, had 11 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks in Saturday’s 101-62 win and 13 points, five rebounds and two assists in Sunday’s 112-88 victory, both versus King’s College in Charlottetown.
Kayeye is from Malton, Ont., and studying in the sport and leisure management program.
