CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Pappy Go Go will look to keep perfection a live tonight at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

First race post time is 6:30 p.m. with the Marc Campbell trained and driven trotter drawing Post 2 in the Race 6 $8,000 Lady Slipper stakes division for three-year-old trotters. The son of Tad The Stud has hit the winner’s circle in all six of his 2017 starts, including a lifetime best of 1:59.4 over the Truro Raceway in Nova Scotia. Owned by Grayland Farm of Pugwash, N.S., the colt will have his main challenges comes from Oceanview Deb (driven by Henry Smallwood) off the rail and Miss Neal Ridge (Clare MacDonald) from the outside.

The other $8,000 Lady Slipper split for three-year-old trotters is in Race 3 with last year’s Maritime champion Wicked Nick the morning line favourite from Post 3 for trainer-driver Gary Chappell and owners Peter Buchanan of North Wiltshire and Cameron Trail of O’Leary.

The two-year-old trotters will see Lady Slipper stakes action in $7,600 divisions in Races 2 and 4.

Race 2 has an old rivalry renewed with Ticked (Myles Heffrnan) leaving from Post 2 with his four wins from five starts record while Buckaroo (Campbell) has Post 3 as he tried to finally knock off his main divisional competition.

West River Cindy is the morning line choice from Post 7 in Race 4’s $7,600 division with MacDonald training and driving for owner Haley Shepherd of Stratford.

The open trot headlines the 12-dash card in Race 10 for a $1,850 purse. Osprey Impact has the target painted square on her back after her open trot victory last week for driver Walter Cheverie and owner-trainer Paul Larabee of Belle River. Her main competition comes from Post 5 starter Freddie (Campbell), along with Kennel Buddy (David Dowling) from Post 6 and Holy Molie Maggie (Gilles Barrieau) with Post 7.
