SUMMERSIDE – The sixth annual Kristen Cameron 5K Fun Run will be held on Saturday, June 16, beginning at 9 a.m.

Registration at Summerside Intermediate School will begin at 8 a.m., and all proceeds will go to the Kristen Cameron Trust Fund.
In 2010, while Kristen was out on a training run on her bicycle, she was struck by a drunk driver and was left a quadriplegic. The 5K run, in her honour, not only raises necessary funds to assist with her everyday needs, but also serves to bring awareness to the dangers of drinking and driving.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and join family and friends for this very worthy cause.
There will be lots of draw prizes presented and refreshments following the run.
