STRATFORD — Red Rock Wrestling returns to the Stratford Town Hall on Friday, May 25 at 7 p.m. off the heels of last month’s controversial Red Rock Rumble.

At the Red Rock Rumble, the event concluded with Riddick Stone attacking longtime ally, “Kowboy” Mike Hughes, from behind after winning the Red Rock Rumble match and becoming the new number one contender. This happened after the two shook hands, seemingly displaying a mutual respect for one another, and revealing that Stone was now aligning himself with the devious Dr. Feinstein.

On Friday night, with tension at an all-time high, Hughes will defend his Red Rock Wrestling Heavyweight Championship in the main event versus Riddick Stone in singles competition. Hughes has held the title since last October when he defeated “The Big Picture” Chris Cooke.

Other matches include two quarter-final contests in the Red Rock Wrestling Light-Heavyweight Championship tournament where eventually, the first ever Red Rock Wrestling Light-Heavyweight champion will be crowned. In one match, Julien Young will challenge the Black Mamba while “The Last Real Apprentice” Zack Doyle is medically cleared to return to the ring and will take on the returning “Youngblood” Cody Blayde in the second quarter-final match.

Also announced is a grudge match between The Answer (w/ Dr. Feinstein) and Voorhees. Voorhees would come to the aid of Hughes last month at the Red Rock Rumble after being attacked by Feinstein and his clients. Feinstein has set out to teach Voorhees a lesson for sticking up for Hughes by challenging him to a match with his trusted client, The Answer.

Other stars expected to appear on Friday night are “The Big Picture” Chris Cooke, “The East Coast Predator” Titus, Lincoln Steen and many more.

Limited advance tickets still remain at Naturally Fit in Charlottetown and Phinley’s Diner in Stratford. Advance tickets can be purchased for $15 (adults) or $12 (kids, seniors) while tickets sold at the door are $20 for everyone.
