CORNWALL, P.E.I. – Third-period goals by Reid Peterson and Jack King lifted the Kings County Kings to a 3-2 comeback victory over the Robin’s Mid-Isle Matrix in P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League action Tuesday in Cornwall.
Mid-Isle had a 2-1 lead after two periods thanks to a pair of scores from Zac MacKay.
Jacob MacEachern (1-1) netted the other Kings marker, while Riley Jamieson chipped in two assists.
Ben Bruce earned the win over Matt Jelley.
Mid-Isle was 1-for-2 on the power play. Kings County went 2-for-4 with the extra man.
