CHARLOTTETOWN – The Sherwood-Parkdale Metros struck for three goals in the game’s first 10:11, and never looked back on Monday night.

The Metros went on to defeat the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces 5-2 in a Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game at the Cody Banks Arena.
Jake Arsenault scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the third-place Metros, who improved to 11-5-1 (won-lost-overtime losses). Brodie MacArthur (1-2), Logan Toole (1-2) and Tanner McLean also scored while Owen Arsenault (2), Brody Maddix and Chad Wilson added assists.
Will Tuplin and Curklan Fraser replied for the fifth-place Aces (9-10-0). Chase McCue, Brett Handrahan and Nathan Ramsay set up the goals.

The period scores were 3-1 and 5-1 in favour of the Metros.
Winning goaltender Blake Arsenault finished with 30 saves. Kristen Clemens stopped 34 of 39 shots for the Aces.
