QMJHL Talk: Russell, Vesterinen and the Isles plans to retain key pieces

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The off-season is in full swing for most Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams.

The Halifax Mooseheads rewarded general manager Cam Russell with a four-year contract extension this week while the Charlottetown Islanders could be without defenceman Saku Vesterinen next season. Those are two of the topics as The Chronicle Herald's Willy Palov and The Guardian's Jason Malloy sat down for this week's QMJHL Talk.

The two also spoke about the Isles plans to keep their trio of veterans and build on this year's success.
