CHARLOTTETOWN – The Sherwood-Parkdale Metros have grabbed a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League championship series.

Shawn Corney and Owen Arsenault each scored twice and earned three assists to lead the Metros to a 5-2 victory over the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces in Game 3 at the Cody Banks Arena on Thursday night.
Marc Cummiskey also had a big game offensively for the Metros, collecting three helpers as Metros, who dropped the series opener in overtime in Tignish on Sunday. Logan Toole (1-1) netted the other Sherwood-Parkdale goal.
Will Tuplin and Brandon Fortsythe replied for the Aces, who will host Game 4 at the Tignish Credit Union Arena on Monday at 8 p.m. Dawson Sellick, Brayden Handrahan, Matthew Bowness and Keaton Horne set up the tallies.
The teams were tied 1-1 after the opening 20 minutes, but the Metros led 4-2 at the second intermission.
Blake Arsenault turned aside 35 of 37 shots in earning the goaltending win. Andrew Gallant had a busier night in the Tignish goal, making 51 saves on 56 shots.
