Hockey P.E.I.'s minor council approves AAA female zones

Following are the zones for the atom, peewee and bantam levels:
Zone 1 – Tignish, Alberton, O’Leary, Tyne Valley, Evangeline and Summerside.
Zone 2 – Bedeque, Southside, North River, Kensington and North Star.
Zone 3 – Charlottetown, Sherwood, Pownal, Souris, Georgetown, Morell, Montague, Belfast and Northumberland.
Following are the midget zones:
Zone 1 – Tignish, Alberton, O’Leary, Tyne Valley, Evangeline and Summerside.
Zone 2 – Bedeque, Southside, North River, Kensington and North Star.
Zone 3 – Charlottetown, Sherwood and Pownal.
Zone 4 – Souris, Georgetown, Morell, Montague, Belfast and Northumberland.
An information bulletin issued by Hockey P.E.I. on Friday also states that minor council and female steering committee will begin a review of the midget AAA league and begin discussions with associations on a new league format for the 2018-19 season.
