Halliwell earns shutout

CHARLOTTETOWN – Matthew Halliwell recorded the shutout as the Central Attack topped the Summerside Capitals 5-0 on Sunday evening.
The P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League game was played at the Bell Aliant Centre on the UPEI campus.
Braden Donnelly had a goal and two assists to pace the Attack, who improved to 8-13-1 (won-lost-tied). Dylan MacDonald (1-1), Joey Hood, Emmett Lyons and Patrick Young also scored for the Charlottetown-based Attack. Caden Kielly (2), Jake MacMillan (2), Ryan McCabe, Justin Richard and Josh McKnight chipped in with assists.
The Attack built period leads of 2-0 and 4-0.
Carter Champion was in goal for Summerside (5-18-0).
