Cole Darrach, Cole Cormier and Miguel Poirier scored for the first-place Moncton Flyers in a 3-1 decision Sunday night over the Charlottetown Pride in New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League action.

With the win, the Flyers improve to 7-2-1 while the Pride slip to 3-5-1.

Gage MacWilliams scored the only goal of the game for the Pride, assisted by Cole Larkin and Connor McGregor.

The game was played at MacLauchlan Arena in Charlottetown.

Both teams have four minor penalties apiece.

Daniel Thompson, facing 14 shots, and Brandon McKenna, handling seven shots, shared goaltending duties for the Flyers while Ben Parent tended net for the Pride. Parent faced 41 shots.
