CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Barrington Duffy’s three goals were just too much for the Arsenault Fish Mart Western Red Wings as the A&S Scrap Metal Metros notched a 5-2 victory in Island Junior Hockey League action Monday at Cody Banks Arena.

Duffy opened the scoring in the first period, added a second period score and topped it with a third-period marker. Connor Gray netted the Metros other goals.

Zach Ladner, Alex Hall, Calen McInnis, Pat McGuigan, Cale Pierce and Tanner Lund had assists in the win.

Jason Gallant and Cole Hackett potted the Red Wings scores from Isaac Knox and Silas Handrahan.

Alex Kelly earned the win over Luke Oliver.

Western outshot the Metros 39-33 and was 2-for-6 on the power play. The Metros went 1-for-8 with the extra man.
