CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Barrington Duffy scored twice and Cale Pierce added a goal and two assists to lift the A&S Scrap Metal Metros to a 6-2 win over the Moncton Vito’s on Wednesday at Cody Banks Arena.
Jordan Birt (2) and Nick Currie also scored in the Island Junior Hockey League interlocking game with the New Brunswick Junior League. Tanner Lund chipped in two assists.
Louis-Joseph Vachon and Justin Boudreau netted the Vito’s markers.
Alex Kelly earned the win over Zach Robichaud.
The Metros outshot Moncton 37-36, and led 3-0 after the first period and 4-1 at the second intermission.
Each side went 1-for-1 on the power play.
