The Acadie-Bathurst Titan rookie defenceman contributed a pair of assists, and was a plus-3 in an 11-3 victory over the Moncton Wildcats in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Saturday.
Dobson, a 2016 first-round pick of the Titan, sixth overall, has two goals and nine helpers for 11 points, along with a plus-16 rating, in 36 matches.

Smallman scores
Also Saturday, Saint John Sea Dogs forward and captain Spencer Smallman, who was born in Summerside, scored his team’s lone goal in a 4-1 road loss to the Halifax Mooseheads. He was also named the game’s third star.
In 34 regular-season games, Smallman has earned 43 points – 15 goals and 28 assists.
