BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – Noah Dobson of Summerside is ranked eighth overall in the latest National Hockey League Central Scouting Midterm Rankings for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

 

Dobson, who is a defenceman with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, is one of 140 players in the Canadian Hockey League to appear on the list, which was released on Monday.
The 18-year-old son of Andrew and Jenny Dobson has recorded 47 points in 46 regular-season games in 2017-18. Dobson has 10 goals and 37 assists.
Moncton Wildcats forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside is listed 122nd. McKenna, 18, is also enjoying a strong sophomore season in the QMJHL as he has 51 points – 25 goals and 26 assists – in 46 contests.

Charlottetown Islanders defenceman Saku Vesterinen, 18, is listed 171st amongst skaters. He has five goals and 20 assists for 25 points in 36 contests this season.
The 2018 NHL Entry Draft will take place in Dallas on June 22 and 23.
