UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Defenceman Noah Dobson of Summerside recorded his first-ever point in a National Hockey League game on Sunday afternoon.
Dobson collected an assist and played 17:18 minutes in helping the New York Islanders to 3-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers in the first exhibition game for both teams.
The Islanders selected Dobson in the first round, 12th overall, in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Dobson played the last two seasons with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
