CHARLOTTETOWN – The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League has recognized the efforts and production of Ryan Beckingham and Logan Toole.
They have been named the most recent players of the week.
Beckingham contributed in a big way to a pair of Southside Lynx victories that moved the Crapaud-based team into second place in the league standings. Beckingham, who received the offensive award, had three points in a 7-4 road win over the Georgetown Eagles on Friday, and followed that up with a four-point effort in an 8-5 win over the North River Flames on Saturday to finish the week with three goals, four assists and seven points.
Top defensive performer
Toole, who has been a huge part of the Metros’ dominant play throughout the first of the season with his play on the blue-line, was recognized as the week’s top defensive performer.
With a short bench on Friday night in Slemon Park, Toole also chipped in offensively with a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch.
