Quick start

Clippers quarterback Camren Gavin gave his team early momentum as he ran into the end zone from 65 yards out on the game’s first play.

The Wildcats had a number of opportunities early in the game, but dropped passes proved costly, and they could not recover.

Touchdown passes

Gavin had five touchdown passes – two to Parker Cameron, and singles to Cameron Wall, Cameron Paynter, and Hayden Gauthier. Owen Turner took over at quarterback in the fourth quarter, and he threw a major score to Paynter. Cole Adams added a 70-yard touchdown run to finish off the scoring.

Halftime

The Clippers, who received another standout game from the defence, led 34-0 at the half. To illustrate how dominating the Clippers’ defence has been, they have not given up a touchdown in six quarters.

On the road

The Clippers travel to Charlottetown to play the Privateers on Sunday, Oct. 23.
