KENSINGTON, P.E.I. – Holden Bradley scored twice and goalie Drew Chapman did the rest and the Eastern Express shutout the Mid-Isle Matrix 5-0 in P.E.I. Bantam AAA Hockey League action Tuesday in Kensington.
Jack Campbell (1-1) scored the eventual game-winning goal 16 minutes into the first period. Avery Brown (1-1) and J.T. Wood chipped in second and third period scores, respectively.
Gabe Hartlen and Simon Hughes each drew two assists.
Chapman tallied the league’s first shutout this season.
Ty Arsenault was tagged with the loss.
Eastern went 1-for-6 on the power play. Mid-Isle was 0-for-5 with the extra man.
