Ellsworth makes Canada's national men's softball team

ST. LAWRENCE, P.E.I. – St. Lawrence’s Jeff Ellsworth has made Team Canada – again.

The 40-year-old was one of 17 players selected to the national men’s softball team for the 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation world championship in the Czech Republic. Canada won bronze at the event in 2017 in Whitehorse.

Ellsworth was a fixture on the national team from 2005-15 and is excited to be returning to the squad.

There are seven Newfoundland and Labrador natives on the squad.
