The road trip continues for the Charlottetown Islanders as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League club lands in Bathurst, N.B., for a Friday matchup versus Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
Game time is 7 p.m. It’s the first of a home-and-home series between the Islanders (1-6-1) and the Titan (3-2-2-1) and the first meeting this season.
Charlottetown is coming off a 4-2 loss to Cape Breton on Wednesday in Sydney, N.S., while it’s the Titans’ last game in a four-game home stand, which including a 3-0 win over the second-place overall Quebec Remparts last weekend.
Summerside native Noah Dobson leads the Titan in points with nine assists from the blue-line, while Samuel L’Italien and Justin Ducharme head the team with five goals apiece.
Adam Marsh tops the Islanders scoring roll with seven points. Keith Getson had the edge in goals with five.
Game 2 in the set is Saturday, at 7 p.m., at Eastlink Centre.
