Wolverines to face Colonels in PEISAA baseball final

CHARLOTTETOWN – The Westisle Wolverines will face the Colonel Gray Colonels in the P.E.I. School Athletic Association Senior Baseball League’s gold-medal game.

In Thursday’s semifinals, the Wolverines edged the Three Oaks Axemen 4-3 in Freetown, and the Colonels won 2-0 over the Morell Marlins in Morell.

Three Oaks and Morell will play in the bronze-medal game at Memorial Field on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The final between Westisle and Gray will immediately follow.
