Hughes throws gem against Selects in KCBL action

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Quinn Hughes threw a no-hitter as the Cardigan Clippers defeated the Youth Selects 14-0 Friday in Kings County Baseball League game called after five innings due to the mercy rule.

Sam Walsh was 2-for-2 with two walks and scored four runs for the Clippers. Denver Morrison and Morgan Mcaree were each 2-for-4 and Alan Munro was 1-for-1 with two RBI as part of the Clippers 11-hit attack.
