I recently visited your Island for a week as I try to do every couple of years. I cannot begin to tell you how welcome I am made to feel by all — including the businesses that I have occasion to frequent. The long drive from Ontario is definitely worth it.

Generally, I find that tourists are treated fairly and the prices are reasonable. That is except for one particular establishment. I love ice cream and have been treated to the most delicious and generous portions all over the island.

However, the folks at Cows ice cream could stand a lesson in public relations. On our visit there, we purchased two small cones (more than enough anywhere else), for around $5 each. To our amazement, they actually weighed the ice cream lest, heaven forbid, they were a gram or two over.

We had to peer down into the cone to verify the meagre contents. We will return to P.E.I. next ear but alas not to Cows. Maybe they should stick to T-shirts.
