EDITOR:

About six generations ago, my ancestors came to Canada. It is only through genealogy research, I have learned that my ancestors came from England. There is little history about my ancestors except they started a new life in Canada.

I have no idea where the words came from that stated, "We are all immigrants." I am not an immigrant. I was born in Canada as was about five generations of my line.

It makes me so angry to think I was born here and some people say, "We are all immigrants."

My ancestors gave the best that they could give to create the Canada we have today. Like so many other Canadians I agree it is the best country in the world.

However, people born here are not immigrants.
