EDITOR:

I would like to counter the allegations accusing Norma Coady of discrimination. Over the years of Ms. Coady renting rooms, she has housed individuals, both male and female, from all over the world. Some have come as students, some to gain citizenship and some working regular jobs.

I have, personally, met many of these tenants and on occasion, socialized with them. Their points of origin have included Saudia Arabia, China, India, Africa, the Philippines and Canadian provinces. The religions have also varied significantly to include Hindu, Muslim, and Christian etc.

Ms. Coady does not see colour differences when looking at people’s faces. She is welcoming and kind to all on an equal basis.

She should be the very last person to be accused of racial discrimination as anyone who knows her would gladly tell you.
