I’m a new resident. I moved here last month from Cape Breton. All my experiences have been positive except one. The people I’ve met have been overly welcoming, both personally and in commercial situations.
I’m retired and my only real exercise is my daily half hour walk. When I meet someone on the street, I go out of my way to say hello.
Most people, but not all, respond with at least a smile or grunt. No one, and I mean no one, has looked me in the eye and initiated a greeting of any sort.
What’s up Charlottetown?
