As a long-time advocate for people that have no voice, I am very upset to see one thing government plans to do.

In my reading of what is going to happen with social services, I noticed they are going to put up the rents, food, personal comfort allowance, but will it be enough?

Not saying anything about phones, now if you don't have a land line, they will not give you a phone allowance. This has to change, too!

As for reloadable phone cards, government did this before, and some issues arose. There were fees associated with each transaction and a person could never use the last $19.99. There always was a monthly fee too.

Government put money in the bank to help with expenses. Now they are putting money out to social service clients, but taking it back in the fees they are going to pay.

Shame on you.
