I find it hard to believe one of the best ball teams on the Island did not get the recognition it deserves. Had Stratford Athletics won, there would be a whole half page story with a picture, the works in The Guardian.
Not to take anything away from Stratford, they were good players and displayed good sportsmanship.
For your sports writer to only have about two paragraphs in the Oct. 17th edition of the Guardian, about Peakes Tee Bombers is insulting to me and the whole Kings County Baseball League.
I believe in fair play and that means fair recognition.
