EDITOR:
It seems people are worried about Medavie, a private company, taking over extra services from the Island nurses home care program. But can this be accurate? The premier clearly is not involved in the alleged transaction, according to the Liberal government.
Robert Ghiz, a member of the Medavie board, assures us he has not lobbied for this business. So, I’m confused over the concerns of Islanders?
Surely if Premier MacLauchlan and former premier Robert Ghiz tell us it’s not so, we should be able to relax and not worry, right?
