EDITOR:

I have been a political activist for a couple of decades. I just sent an email to the committee on the Access to Information Act. I wanted to make a public presentation. I was just informed the Department of Justice and Public Safety is not currently organizing any public meeting at which a person can make a public presentation, including myself.

The Liberals kicked Bevan-Baker out of the legislature for using the word farce; the Premier not holding public presentations on the Access to Information Act is a farce. Anyone or any municipality can oppose P.E.I. expanding the Access to Information Act in secrecy.

Legislation that doesn't follow the provisions of the Constitution is null and void and no-effect. There is the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, politicians can make presentations and oppose taxpayers having information, which they are entitled to.

The Premier quietly passed to Jordan Brown the responsibilities of Attorney General without announcing there won't be public presentations on the Access To Information Act. Here is an example of a Liberal and Conservative farce.
