EDITOR:
Apologies for my terrible procrastination, but better late than never!
On Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 around 3 p.m. I was driving west from Georgetown to Charlottetown along Highway 3 and the Trans-Canada Highway, and stopped at a u-pick sunflower patch on the north side of the road. It operated on an honour system, and the metal collection box was painted red with white writing indicating the cost as "50 cents/stem, $5/dozen."
A woman agreed to let me take photos of her and her children, and I promised to send them to her. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted her contact info from my cellphone, and it has always bothered me that I wasn't able to keep my promise.
The woman, her husband and family were camping in P.E.I. at the time. The couple recently had a baby, who remained asleep in the family's van while I took these pictures.
Please ask your readers to e-mail me at [email protected] if they can help me re-connect with this family.
