I was very disappointed recently when I saw Peter Bevan-Baker of the Green Party show such disrespect to our Island Legislature.
There are rules - and it is especially important for elected people to respect those rules.
In that stunt he played he single-handily disrespected the 73,136 Islanders that voted for anyone else but him. Just respect our institutions - simple and easy.
The lesson I learned is that Peter Bevan-Baker thinks he is above everyone else. That kind of big feeling arrogance does not serve anyone well. I think he owes all Islanders an apology, but I won’t hold my breath.
Even new MLA Hannah Bell didn't vote against the motion to remove him - maybe seek her advice next time.
