Good to see that Proportional Representation is at least mentioned in the P.E.I. throne speech. PR is the only way to vote democratically.
It is interesting that First-Past-the-Post (FPTP) was used, and still is, as a non-democratic way of voting, first in England hundreds of years ago, referring to 'a horse race.’
Interestingly, FPTP applied to a horse race is somewhat democratic since first, second and third placings count; therefore FPTP used to describe our present way of voting is a misnomer. Let us replace
it with PR.
