EDITOR:

Sexual harassment is a hot topic. Morgan Freeman is facing accusations of sexual harassment. Harvey Weinstein has been charged with rape, sexual misconduct and sex abuse.

Remember a series of Hollywood sexual harassment scandals a few months ago? There were so many gratifying responses and a lot of actresses publicly supported the victims and denounced this phenomenon.

MeToo was started - an international movement against sexual harassment and assault. Indeed, there are many movements which protect female rights over the last few years, and this is a good sign which means women receive more protection.

However, there is a lot of harassment still happening. Of course, women seeking equal positions is a hard process. Even though this process is difficult, everyone should be a fearless soldier to obtain our rights.

The public should create a safe environment for victims and protect their dignity. Because of public scrutiny, victims usually choose silence to make sure they will not be hurt anymore.

Victims should bravely discuss their suffering. Sometimes, the worst tragedy that could happen, is for the person to remain silent.

I think that people should be better educated, that everyone should be respected. Overall, I hope that there will be a day without harassment in the world.
