With broken hearts, the family and many friends of Ryan Alexander MacKinnon-age 37, formerly of DeSable, sadly announce his passing of natural causes. The death occurred on June 14, 2018. Beloved son of Joe and Leah MacKinnon (nee Patey). Loving brother of Cheryl (Troy), Brad (Beth), Jody (Jeff), Devon (Dusty). Special uncle of Kaylee, Alex, Matthew, Braden, Preston, Luke, Paige, Drew, Jack, Bryson and Tovan. Special friend of Mary Ellen Roche. Predeceased by paternal grandparents - Howard and Beatrice MacKinnon (nee MacLellan), maternal grandparents - Daphne Thompson (nee Young) and Dan Patey, special uncle Martin Kelly and Godmother Lois Ward. Lovingly remembered by many aunts and uncles Ozzie (Ruth) MacKinnon, Earl (Bev) MacKinnon, Marjorie (Kier) Johnson, Norma Kelly, Linda (Wayne) MacLennan, Mary (Paul) MacKinnon-Walsh, Danny (Marj) Patey, Herby (Anna) Patey, Roger Patey (Kay), Linda Owens, Greg (Pinky) Patey, Billy (Doreen) Thompson, as well as all of his special cousins. Funeral mass to take place June 21st, 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish Church, Kelly’s Cross. Private Burial to take place at St. Patrick’s Parish Cemetery, Grand River.
