Melvin Albert Savoie

The death occurred suddenly in St. Margaret’s on Monday, September 10, 2018 of Melvin Albert Savoie; aged 71 years of Souris, P.E. Dear father to Angela Flynn (Jason) and Elisha Savoie (Adam Lidstone). Loving grandfather to Tyler, Devin, Haley, Colby, and Matthew. He will be missed by Tania Peters, and forever remembered by his siblings Noela Lavigne (Bert), Sunny, Vince, Maryanne Gallant (Bobby), Sylvia Perry (Jimmy), Norman (Leona), Lucille Hache, Alice MacDonald, Linda Gallant (Lloyd), Bobby (Pauline), Joanne Duguay (Mario); sister-in-law Linda Savoie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Dorothy Savoie, brother Gerald and numerous infant siblings; brothers-in-law Wilfred Hache and Wayne MacDonald. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 7-9pm, and Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
