Mary “Mamie” Theresa White

At the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 of Mary Theresa “Mamie” White (nee Hughes) in her 92nd year. Survived by chosen son Robert (Bobby) Gregory and his wife Cathy. Loving Nanny to Tracy (Cory MacDonald), Lynn (Morgan Smith), Heather (Brad Matthews), and great grandmother to Natalie and Paige MacDonald, Brooke, Nolan and Hope Smith, and Madelyn and Abigail Matthews. Survived by sisters Margaret Mahar, Anne MacDonald; brother-in-law Arnold Mahar, and sisters-in-law Shirley Hughes and Donna Hughes. Survived by niece Ann MacEachern (Ian) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Robert A. “Bobby” White and parents Bernard Hughes and Mary Conway; step mother Gertrude Hughes, and brothers Michael and Bernard. Also, predeceased by brothers-in-law Tom, Francis, Charlie, Daniel, Reginald, and William White; Kenny MacDonald, and sisters-in-law Margaret Aubertin, Helen Mallard, and Annetta Gregory. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Monday, April 23, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Alexis Church Cemetery, Rollo Bay, PE.
