Louis Delano (Del) Connolly

Del Connolly, beloved husband of Bonnie, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Del joined P.P.C.L.I. and after an honorable discharge, was employed by Canada Steamship Lines, and then with the City of Calgary, Glenmore Dam, until his retirement. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and his love of the outdoors; he also enjoyed square dancing. Besides his loving wife of forty-six years, Bonnie, Del is survived by children, Thomas and Tracy; brothers, Robert and Jerome; sisters, June and Yvonne; and numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his brother Owen in 2013. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
