L. Gertrude Rowsell

At St. John Regional Hospital on March 12, 2018 of Lena ‘Gertrude’ Rowsell (nee MacFadyen) of Charlottetown, P.E., dearest wife of the late Licentiate (Pastor) Maxwell H. Rowsell. Gertrude was the eldest daughter of Cecil and Minerva MacFadyen (deceased) of Charlottetown, P.E.I. She is survived by her two sisters Etta MacFadyen of Charlottetown and Ruth Neill (John, deceased) of Charlottetown, by her special niece Jennifer Neill (Danny), great-niece Lila-Ruth. Survived by Uncle Tom Ramsay (Hazel, deceased), Lila Brown (Eustace) and Audrey MacGillivary (George) (David, deceased) and cousins. She leaves behind her special friend, Brian Hughes and her cherished Himalayan cat, Yoda. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation Friday 4:30-6 p.m. Interment later in North Granville Cemetery, North Granville, PE.
