Joyce “Judy” Gallant

The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday, February 9, 2018, of Joyce Gallant (nee Gallant), daughter of the late Andrew and Florence Gallant, and special friend to Helen Friesen, of Charlottetown, and formerly of Rustico, aged 66. Joyce is survived by her siblings, John Gallant, Theresa Gallant, Gary Gallant (Stella), David Gallant (Marsha) and Paul Gallant; special niece, Rhonda; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by siblings, Velda, Audrey, Lorraine, Huck and Millar. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538, Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
